Using ChatGPT to...Create a Documentary About Russia, Get Financial Advice in the Style of the World's Greatest Investors and Generate News Ticker Headlines To Use For Livestreaming
Plus—is GPT Engineer any good (?), the relax on the beach challenge, the dude who says he's building the future of AI automation agencies AND the business advice that ChatGPT gave me personally.
“So what can you do with it?”
Whenever I hear that question about AI it makes me feel very excited that I get to put all of my media, entertainment and branding experience to the test in order to show folks exactly how I’m using it to make both my life and work oh so much better.
Like…haven’t you ever wanted a brilliant assistant? A brilliant researcher? I sure have.
I’ll tell you a stat I can’t stop thinking about:
“GPT-4-generated pitches are 3x more likely to secure funding than human ones.”
Understanding my own limitations (have you ever read Kahneman’s Nobel Prize-winning Thinking, Fast & Slow?) is what helps me the most out of anything, and I look at using AI exactly like that.
The same way that I don’t personally have the ability (currently!) to put together all the transistors that might power a computer to generate this Substack on my own, that’s all AI really is:
…another humanity-created innovation in tech that the first people to market using it are getting a huge edge.
The same way I wish I invested in Bitcoin in 2012 or started a YouTube channel in 2006 or started a branded website in 1993, I see right now as exactly that historical equivalent.
And it’s fun!
It’s really fun to learn this stuff and have what once seemed like very scary and intimidating tech challenges become a lot less so.
Now…let’s do some stuff!
