From an entirely AI-generated standup special that led an A-lister to threaten to sue to livestreams trained on 100s of hours of old TV, comedy about AI—and done with—reveals a lot about...*humans*.

I will admit—I did learn a few AI comedy hacks along the way.

“We all just came out of a global pandemic,” the A-lister whose voice has been synthesized by artificial intelligence to sound exactly like him is saying. “Everybody figured out they can do their jobs from home so nobody wants to go into an office again.”

There are rarely any pauses in between his lines of dialogue.

“I think they should offer a compromise. Come into the office but you can keep a few things from the work-at-home lifestyle. You don’t have to wear pants if you don’t want. For every 10 minutes of work, you can watch TikTok for an hour. You can take a nap whenever you want…and of course you should be able to masturbate three to four times a day.”

And then there’s the human—non-AI—comedian who tells his fans he set up a website to look like a fake ChatGPT—in order to receive all your depraved and impatient requests.

Except it’s just him. One dude. Answering all your weird questions in a bitchy way.
