Which is why I’m going to be giving you my favorite excerpts from it—related to AI—in the form of a very excitingly illustrated Newsweek cover story that I found simply too irresistible to pass up at the La Guardia airport some time earlier today.

There, on the news rack, next to the cover of Kim Kardashian on Time’s most important great thinkers alive today (natch) was a big angry octopus generated by Midjourney to represent AI. Yes, yes. I have generated many of the same. It’s a classic.
