Get it? Because they’re always on Twitter. Honestly—I relate to this one way too much.

Today’s Rabbithole:

Did you know that all jokes lead back to Spirit Halloween, a store that is open two months of the year and rakes in $600 million in that time?

Neither did I!

Until yesterday, that is, when I was desperate for a topic to write about and started searching for topical Halloween shit (first headline considered: “Non Basic Halloween Costume Ideas for Baddies”). Then lo and behold, I discovered the memesplosion that has become the last few days on the Internet, making clever work of the pop-up super-store’s hilariously shameless costume knockoffery (Snow White becomes “Bad Apple Cutie” and Tinker Bell transforms to “Lil’ Green Fairy”).

Because when the Internet sees a punchline-setup memeable joke format, by God it will burn it into the ground until it’s never funny again.

Because that’s just good comedy.
