I always feel like such a loser voyeur when I track trends that mostly drop-dead gorgeous teens and 20somethings are doing on TikTok knowing that if I were their age they would eat me for breakfast. So please consider that my trigger warning derived from the many, many safety readers that live inside my head. I am totally clear on the fact that I have zero business writing about this dumb-ass trend besides the fact that it is literally (said with the utmost vocal fry) my job to track what the kids are doing.
